Rachel lived her life surrounded by joy and generosity. She gave selflessly to her career as a nurse, but above all, she gave every part of who she was to raising her children and honoring her husband. Her greatest joy in the entire world was to be with her family.

Rachel was diagnosed in November 2021 with pancreatic cancer. She fought a short but courageous battle. In her memory, the Rachel's Legacy fund was created. This fund is to be given to a family that understands what it is like to lose a parent. Rachel believed that everyone has a story and that that story deserves to be shared and honored.
